the work of David Carson is rich in use of typography and texture. this helped build my confidence in incorporating typography into my work as it gave me the freedom to experiment and be messy with my designs and to not think about structure to much.

from my photographs I created four David Carson responses in photoshop using different textures and bending options to create the grunge aesthetic Carsons work Is known for. I used fonts suchas wingdings which I turned into paint brushes to ass more texture to my work.
